I’m also from Spain. I’m going to apply for Biomedicine bachelor for 2024 I really hope KI accepts me. I just wanted to know if it is common to coincide with other spanish students? And also, if it has been difficult for Mireia to get along with other students.
Hi Luna Marina. Glad you are interested in the bachelor programme! As our global programmes are truly international, the chances are quite high to encounter a fellow spanish person! As Mireira has graduated, I cant say on her behalf but usually since everyone is new at the uni, everyone is looking for new friendships and are easy to get along with! -DA Yan
Hello, I'm a Swedish citizen but I live in Saudi Arabia and I go to an American high school diploma. Hopefully when I finish grade 12 I want to apply to the Biomedicine program at your university. At my school here in Saudi Arabia, the language is taught in English so do I still need to do the Toefl or Ilets. *By the way I did the SAT English. And what are the requirments for Biomedicine in my situation?
Hi :) The entry requirements for the Bachelor's in Biomedicine can be found in this link: education.ki.se/programme/1bi17-bachelors-programme-in-biomedicine -- scroll down to "Application Autumn 2021 - 1st intake (International)" If you have any more doubts or specifications about what you would need I'd suggest you contact KI Admissions Office that they are the experts on the matter ;) You can do it by filling the form in there: education.ki.se/contact-admissions Hope this helped and good luck with the application! :D /Mireia
How do i get healthcare at karolinska hospital? I still dont get how you get it even with reachars or calling them. Is it only for rich people or something... and how do i sue a hospital as im 16 (Not karolinska lol) for felvård or ignoring the problem? Like for example a spot has been growing like a spider weeb on my eye white for over teo years and even though my complaining they told me it was a birthmark when i was CLEAR on that it wasnt one. My eyewhites have never had a spot on it and they demed it as that when they sent it to the doctors that would determine if its worth a undersökning or not. Its absolutelt ridicilous. Alll those three doctors ive gone through just for them to repeat absolutely nothing and then MAYBE undersöka me. Its so infruriating that i didnt get it immediately! Going through three doctors just writing down what i said and not doing anything different that one doc could do is so annyong. All they did was taking a pic too. Ugh. And my scoliosis after a rönken, was invalidated to get any help they said i would have to live with it. That it wouldnt affect me at all. even though i said it has pained me so much. And they said its not worth trying as im 16 and probably stopped growing. ”Women stop growing two years after their period and u got it at 12” ITS SO ANNOYING BECAUSE I GREW ALOT THESE 4 years AND IM STILL GROWING ?!!? And for the eye one they just call it off like ”its because youre a pigmented person” (im black) LIKE WHY ARE THEY DOING THAT WHEN I CAME FOR A GREAT REASON. Help mee youre the best uni for medicare and you could answer in swedish too i wasnt sure
Hello Latisha, They have neuroscience courses inside both the bachelor's and master's in Biomedicine. Unfortunately there is not an international undergraduate programme only focused on neuroscience. - Programme syllabus for the Bachelor's in Biomedicine: education.ki.se/programme-syllabus/1BI17 - Programme outline for the Master's in Biomedicine: education.ki.se/student/programme-outline-8 Hope that helps! /Mireia

Hi, I want to apply for a scholarship for Bachelor in Psychology Department from abroad. I have searched for scholarship requirements for psychology, but i couldn't find any. Do i need to take any SATs or IELTS test? Would you mind helping me?
Hello! :) There is not a Psychology Programme that is available in English, it is only taught in Swedish, so you would first need to prove Swedish proficiency. The available scholarships for students that are not part of a Global Programme at Karolinska can be found at this link (in Swedish): utbildning.ki.se/stipendier-for-studenter Hope it helped, otherwise you can get in contact with someone from Karolinska Institutet --> utbildning.ki.se/kontakta-antagningen /Mireia
